Nate Marquardt vs Martin Kampmann official for UFC 88 E-mail

nate-marquardt.jpgA bout between Nate Marquardt and Martin Kampmann has been officially announced and set to take place at UFC 88: "Breakthrough" on Sept. 6, 2008 at the Phillips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.

Kampmann is coming off a first round win over Jorge Rivera. The Xtreme Couture fighter came back after over a one year layoff to defeat Rivera via guillotine choke.

Marquardt is coming off a loss to Thales Leites in which he was deducted 2 points for 2 seperate infractions.

The latest fight card for UFC 88: Breakthrough is as follows:

Martin Kampmann vs. Nate Marquardt

Nate would have won the fight against Thales if it wasn't for those two points being taken away by ref Herb Dean. Let's hope he's more careful about doing something that could cause him to lose points again.
