After a brutal knockout victory over Keith "The Mean" Jardine this May, Silva has been told by the UFC to prepare for a return in December.
Originally reported by mmajunkie.com, Silva was a guest co-host on taggradio.com
"I'm talking with (UFC co-owner) Lorenzo (Fertitta)," said Silva, "They're talking about December because it is the best event of the year. (Antonio Rodrigo) Nogueira is going to fight (Frank) Mir for the belt for the heavyweights.
Silva stated he does not know who he will be facing in December.
"They gave me 10 (possible) names," Silva said. "My division is the best division in the world. They have so many names. I think they're going to give a good opponent to me."
There have been rumors of a possible third bout between Silva and former light heavyweight champion Quinton "Rampage" Jackson.
"I wanted to fight [Jackson] again," Silva said. "I think it's a very good match."
Silva knows he'll be ready, regardless of who his next opponent will be.
"For me, no problem," Silva said. "I'll fight with everybody."
